Additional Guidelines and Recommendations

  • Alcohol-based sanitizer is not an adequate substitute – ok as an addition after hand washing with soap and water.
  • Hand-washing station is preferably located in the exit area and must be accessible to children and persons with disabilities.
  • Running water must be of sufficient flow to adequately clean hands.
  • Stations are stocked with soap and with paper towels to dry hands at all times.
  • There must be enough stations to meet visitor demand.
