Additional Guidelines and Recommendations

The operation has been physically divided into three types of areas:

  • Non-animal area
    • Animals are not permitted (with the exception of service animals).
    • Food and beverages can be prepared, served and consumed.
    • Restrooms and hand-washing facilities are available.
  • Transition areas (locations between non-animal and animal areas)
    • Entrance and exit transition areas.
    • Designated clearly, even if conceptual rather than physical.
    • Animals are not permitted (with the exception of service animals).
  • Animal areas
    • Location for animals and their enclosures.
    •  Double barriers (or some other method) to prevent direct contact with animals except in designated contact areas.
    • One way flow of visitors.
