The operation has been physically divided into three types of areas: Non-animal areas, transition areas and animal areas.

Additional Guidelines and Recommendations

There are:

•  Non animal areas
  • Animals are not permitted (with the exception of service animals).
  • Food and beverages can be prepared, served and consumed.
  • Restrooms and hand washing facilities are available.
• Transition area
  •  Locations in between non-animal and animal areas.
  •  Animals are not permitted (with the exception of service animals).
  •  Employees are present to inform visitors and supervise their entrance to the animal area.
• Animal areas
  • Location for animals and their enclosures.
  • Double barriers (or some other method) to prevent direct contact.
  • Eating and drinking are prohibited.
  • Hand-washing facilities are present, preferably in the exit area.
