Correction

When guests are in contact with large animals (trail rides, pony rides, dairy tours, etc.), use animals that are healthy and have a good temperament.

Additional Guidelines and Recommendations

• Ponies, burros and miniature livestock are treated with the same standards as large animals.
• Employees that are guides, wranglers, instructors or work with any animals should be well-trained and experienced.
• In non-animal areas, farm pets will be tied up or kenneled and physically separated from visitors.
• Check local ordinances for regulations pertaining to animal restraint.
