Correction

Barbed wire, smooth wire and electrical wire fencing should be avoided as a barrier between children and hazards. Their purpose is to contain animals and poses a hazard to children.

Additional Guidelines and Recommendations

• Turn off all electric fences when visitors are on the operation, and be sure they are easily identifiable (if possible, remove all electric fences).
• Double fencing is in place to prevent children from reaching animals that have a tendency to bite.
