Areas that contain hazards to visitors are fenced or have some type of effective barrier between the hazard and visitors.

Additional Guidelines and Recommendations

• From a child’s eye level, the operation has been checked to assess the need for barriers and fencing.
• Fences and barriers are in good condition, inspected regularly, and repaired as needed.
• Adult supervision is required, especially if children are able to climb under, over or through the fence.
