Even if a farm or ranch owner implements every safety strategy possible, there is still a possibility of an injury or emergency. In addition, medical, fire and rescue services may be located far from the farm or ranch.
As a result, it will be necessary to have owners and/or workers available who are able to respond appropriately until help arrives… and to plan for incidents and emergencies before they occur.
The “walkthrough” that follows will encompass general incident and emergency response guidelines, and also provide links to useful resources.
